From rural Egypt to communities across the nation, Alsafina Organization blends art, culture, psychosocial support, and peacebuilding to tell untold stories, foster understanding, and inspire lasting change.
AlSafina Organization for Culture, Arts, and Psychological Support is located in the village of Balansoura, Minya Governorate. It was established in 2021 and officially registered with the Ministry of Social Solidarity under Decision No. 318 of 2025.
We believe in the importance of providing a safe space for expression, exploration, learning, and empowerment in rural communities through the tools of culture and art. Our goal is to build a participatory environment filled with peace, without discrimination, through artistic and cultural activities that help break down barriers and bring community members closer together.

This marked the foundation of our work in supporting rural communities through culture, arts, and psychological care, providing a place where individuals—especially women—can express themselves, learn, and grow in a nurturing environment.
With the help of friends who believed in the vision of Al-Safina, the old space was renewed and transformed into a warm, welcoming environment—ready to host art, creativity, and community gatherings.
In 2023, Al-Safina officially opened its doors as a center for culture and arts, providing an open space for the community to express themselves, learn, create, and strengthen connections through artistic and cultural activities.
In 2025, Al-Safina was officially registered as a non-profit organization under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, with Decision No. 318, marking a major step towards sustainability and expanding its impact in rural communities.
