Alsafina Organization Welcomes the Ambassador of Sweden to Support Women's Empowerment in Minya
As part of its partnership with the Embassy of Sweden in Cairo, Alsafina Organization for Culture, Arts, and Psychological Support welcomed H.E. Ambassador Dag Juhlin-Dannfelt, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Arab Republic of Egypt, along with his accompanying delegation, at the organization's headquarters in Blansoura Village, Minya Governorate.
The visit took place within the framework of the Women Entrepreneurs Incubation Lab in Minya, a three-day initiative designed to empower women in rural communities by developing practical skills, strengthening self-confidence, and increasing market awareness to support entrepreneurship and economic independence.
During the visit, the delegation was introduced to Alsafina's programs and community initiatives in the fields of culture, psychological support, and local development. The visit highlighted the organization's ongoing efforts to empower women, youth, and children and to promote sustainable development across rural communities in Minya.
The organization was also honored by the presence of Rev. Asaad Talaat, Founder of Alsafina Organization and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, recipient of the Dr. Ali Al-Samman Award for Interfaith Coexistence, whose vision and leadership continue to guide the organization's mission of creating meaningful social impact.
The event brought together representatives from governmental institutions, academia, and civil society, reflecting the importance of cross-sector collaboration in advancing women's empowerment and community development.
